Mossy Bird

Started with a $1 bird cut out (wooden), added dried moss and flowers, some bark, and a button. Finished off the edges with scrap material. Love it!

A friend and co-worker of mine recently passed away at the age of 45. Still not sure what the 'cause' was as he was fine one day, had a seizure was fine, had another one and never came out of it. His mother is a dear, sweet lady who was the single mom of two boys. I offered to take the flowers from his funeral and make potpourri out of them for her. Delivered it today. She was very pleased. So glad I was able to do this little thing for her.

In loving memory

Flowers!

Well, right when you get used to the warm weather (70's-80's), a cold snap comes (50's) which means all the beautiful flowers coming up are under a freeze warning.....uggghhh! Maybe I'll just put some of these pretty arrangements out and not worry about it for now :)

Any of these would be a great gift for Mom next month!

Coffee / tea cup plant holder.

Beautiful large wreath.

Medium sized wreath, very nice!

Handmade Kitchen Stuff!

Found some really sweet handmade items at the local flea market last weekend. Definitely sharing these in my shop!

Created this video for my sister and brother-in-law in memory of their only child, my only nephew, and the only boy in our small close-knit family.
Such strong people who rely on God's mercy each and every day.

Love you, Janet & Ed!

Letters from World War II

Found these letters in my father-in-law's shed. They belonged to his uncle who was drafted into WWII. Seems like they should be in a book or museum or something. Really special.
This one was very long and contained lots of local history.
Was an older man whom he had worked with writing him while he was in the war.

These are between two lovers. They didn't stay together.
